Dr. Chip Houske been in practice in Torrance since 1984. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California Dental School and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, having attained Mastership status, an accreditation that less than 1% of all dentists have achieved. He is affiliated with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the International College of Implant Dentists.
Dr. Houske has maintained a philosophy of “prevention through education” throughout his career. He has lectured to thousands of children throughout the school system in the South Bay area and has been keenly interested in the research and development of preventive dental products since 1983. He is currently involved in research with bone regeneration and applications to implant dentistry.
He prefers to spend his time outdoors when not working. Fishing, antiquing with his wife, and long distance running are some of his hobbies. He and his wife have two wonderful children.
